Helping Authors Expand into New Markets with Strategy, Quality & Results
Since 2023, PublishMe has been the trusted partner for authors and small publishers ready to grow their multilingual and cross-cultural reach.

Entering a new language market involves more than translation. It requires careful market selection, cultural understanding, and sustained visibility.
PublishMe brings these elements together — combining expert translation, local insight, and coordinated marketing — so international expansion is structured, informed, and built to last.

Our Story
PublishMe was founded to address a recurring problem: talented authors were ready to expand into new language markets, but lacked reliable, coordinated support to do so well.
What began as a professional translation service quickly evolved. Again and again, we saw that translation alone was not enough. Market selection, cultural positioning, publishing setup, and sustained visibility were just as critical — yet often handled separately, inconsistently, or at prohibitive cost.
Founded by Michail Kollewijn and Valentina Foppa — both experienced translators and proofreaders — PublishMe was built as a structured alternative. One that combines editorial quality with practical publishing insight and long-term marketing support.
Today, PublishMe works alongside authors and small publishers who are ready to grow internationally with clarity and foresight. Our model is closely aligned with theirs: we succeed when the books we support succeed.
In short, you write the stories. We help them reach readers in new markets.

Our Team

Michail Kollewijn
CEO & Founder
Michail Kollewijn is a serial entrepreneur and digital nomad who has spent over a decade in senior management before turning his focus to global publishing. He founded Transcre8, a translation and localization agency, then built PublishMe into the go-to partner for indie and bestselling authors expanding into new language markets — translating over 11 million words for 30+ bestselling authors and reaching 8M+ readers worldwide. He also launched The Human Edit, a hybrid AI-plus-human translation service that helps publishers scale without sacrificing literary quality.

Valentina Foppa
Director & Co-Founder
Valentina Foppa is a translator and localization specialist with a background in International Relations and over five years of experience in cross-cultural communication. As Director and Co-Founder of PublishMe, she pairs editorial rigor with marketing strategy to help authors break into new international markets — building a business that has translated over 11 million words and supported 30+ bestselling authors across Europe and beyond.
Our Approach
We believe international expansion should be deliberate, not improvised.
Translation, publishing, and marketing are often treated as separate services. In practice, they are inseparable parts of the same process. We approach them as parts of one coordinated strategy — designed to support a lasting presence in new language markets.
